Who we are

Ask the Skies is an online service run by Polar Codes, based in Brazil. These terms are the agreement between you and us when you visit the site, create an account or subscribe. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.

What the service is

Ask the Skies offers astrology, tarot, gypsy cards (Lenormand), numerology and dream readings written by artificial intelligence, for entertainment and self-reflection. No outcome is promised. Please read our Entertainment notice, which is part of these terms.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. By using the service you confirm that you are. We may close accounts that we reasonably believe belong to a minor.

Your account

• Give us a real e-mail address and keep your password to yourself.
• One account is for one person. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
• Tell us at support@asktheskies.com if you think someone else is using it.

Plans and prices

• Free: 50 welcome credits, given once, and 5 preview messages without an account.
• Basic: US$ 5.99 a month or US$ 47.99 a year, with 150 credits every day.
• Plus: US$ 11.99 a month or US$ 89.99 a year, with 400 credits every day.
• Pro: US$ 24.99 a month or US$ 179.99 a year, with 1,000 credits every day.

Prices are in US dollars. Your bank may add currency conversion or foreign transaction fees, and taxes may apply where you live. Prices may change; the price shown at checkout is the one charged. If the price of your plan changes, we will tell you before the new price applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then. Payments are processed by Stripe. We sell subscriptions only; there are no one-off credit packs.

Automatic renewal and cancellation

• Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) and is charged to the same payment method, until you cancel.
• Before a yearly renewal we send you a reminder e-mail.
• You can cancel at any time from the Billing page of your account, which opens the Stripe customer portal. It takes two clicks.
• After you cancel, you keep your plan until the end of the period you already paid for. Then the account returns to the free plan.
• Refunds are explained in our Refund policy.

Credits

• Readings and messages use credits. The cost of each action is shown in the app.
• Paid plans receive their credits every day. Daily credits expire at midnight and do not roll over.
• Credits have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be transferred, sold or given to another account.
• Welcome credits on the free plan are given once per person.

Countries

Payments are not available in Mexico, Japan, Thailand, Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Cuba and Crimea, and in other places where sanctions or local rules prevent them. Do not use tools to hide your location in order to pay.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service for anything illegal, or to harass, threaten or harm anyone;
• send content involving minors in any sexual or harmful way, or let a minor use your account;
• send hateful, violent or abusive content, or try to make the AI produce it;
• share other people's personal data without a right to do so;
• scrape, copy or collect content with bots or other automated tools, or overload or attack the service;
• resell the service, share paid accounts or get around credit limits;
• present the readings as professional advice to other people.

AI-generated content

Answers are generated by artificial intelligence models from third-party AI providers, from the messages you send. Card draws are random, made on our server. AI answers may be inaccurate, incomplete or simply wrong, and they are not a substitute for professional advice (medical, psychological, legal or financial). You decide what to do with them, and we make no promises about results.

Intellectual property

• The site, its design, texts, card images, oracles and software belong to Polar Codes or to our licensors.
• Your messages are yours. You allow us to process them only to run the service for you, as described in our Privacy policy.
• You may keep and share your readings for personal, non-commercial use.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other people or the service at risk, or is used for fraud or chargebacks made in bad faith. When the problem can be fixed, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

Limitation of liability

The service is offered for entertainment, as it is and as available. As far as the law allows:

• we are not responsible for decisions you make based on a reading;
• we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost opportunities;
• our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms removes or limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived, or our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the service or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is important, we will tell you by e-mail or in the app before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change applies to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. If you are a consumer, you also keep the mandatory protections of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of your place of residence where the law allows it. Before going to court, please write to us: most problems are solved by e-mail.
